The floral motif of the 'Jaipur' peshtemal fabric used to create this kimono is a modern interpretation of the carnation flower typical of Iznik pottery in Turkey, whereas the lattice was inspired by the beautiful stonework of the Rose Gate of Jaipur’s City Palace in India.
